  • B’ CHOICE: ONE DAY TRIP TO CAPE SOUNION & VISIT TO THE TEMPLE OF POSEIDON

You will depart from the Marina of Glyfada under the morning sun (around 10 am) and as you cruise the legendary Greek waters, our destination is Cape Sounion and the Temple of Poseidon. Cape Sounion, the southernmost tip of Attica, is a significant strategic point, whence the city-state of Athens controlled the sea passage to the Aegean Sea and Piraeus, the central port, as well as the Lavrion peninsula, comprising the rich silver mines thanks to which Athens emerged as a leading power in the 5th century BC.

The Ancient Greek temple of Poseidon at Cape Sounion, built during 444–440 BC, is one of the major monuments of the Golden Age of Athens. It is perched above the sea at a height of almost 60 metres (200 ft).

Guests can also enjoy swimming at the blue crystal waters with the temple as a picturesque background. Also guests can enjoy a delicious lunch with fresh fish and Greek Mediterranean specialties in one of the traditional restaurants of the area. Towards the afternoon guests can enjoy a second swim and on the way back to Glyfada guests can take memorable photos with the sunset.

  •  Cost: 1.100 euros + VAT ( 12%) : 1.232 €

(the above costs includes the captain, petrol, insurance, 1 bottle of white wine & 1 bottle of red wine, 4 soft drinks, 3 bottles of mineral water)

  • C’ CHOICE: ONE DAY TRIP TO ISLAND OF AGKISTRI & ISLAND OF AEGINA

You will depart from the Marina of Glyfada under the morning sun (around 10 am) and cruise to Agkistri island and discover the island’s crystal waters of Aponisos and Metopi. Next stop is the island of Aegina! Our destination is Perdika for lunch break (ideal for fresh fish). Aegina is suitable also for excursions. One of the proposed ones is the one that leads to the Monastery, the small island with the characteristic shape, visible from the west side of the island.

The monastery is about 10 ‘by boat from Perdika and is an island that has peacocks, deer and wild goats for permanent residents. What else will you find in the Monastery? Blue-green waters, organized sandy beach with bar and many more “secret” places for exploration and privacy! These beautiful beaches are ideal for swimming surrounded by exquisite natural beauty.

Towards the afternoon guests can enjoy a second swim and on the way back to Glyfada guests can take memorable photos with the sunset. ( return time around 20.00pm)

 Cost: 1.200 euros + VAT ( 12%) : 1.344 €

(the above costs includes the captain, petrol, insurance, 1 bottle of white wine & 1 bottle of red wine, 4 soft drinks, 3 bottles of mineral water)

  • D’ CHOICE: ONE DAY TRIP TO ISLAND OF HYDRA OR KEA ISLAND

You will depart from the Marina of Glyfada under the morning sun (around 10 am) having as destination the island of Kea which sits in the Aegean sea and is the closest to Athens inhabited Cycladic island. Thanks to its proximity to Athens, Kea (or Tzia as it is also known as) is a very popular destination among the locals, especially for weekend getaways!

Even though it is a Cycladic island, Kea isn’t similar to its Cycladic counterparts. Unlike the rest of the Cyclades islands, Kea is a verdant island with forests and cultivations galore. What’s more, instead of the traditional whitewashed Cycladic houses, it is full of traditional farmhouses and buildings in earthy tones

As for Kea beaches, some of them, such as Gialiskari, Koundouros, and Korissia, are organized, while others are secluded and completely unspoiled! Guests can enjoy swimming and a delicious lunch with fresh fish and local specialties.

Kea is an oasis of relaxation! Towards the afternoon guests can enjoy a second swim and on the way back to Glyfada guests can take memorable photos with the sunset. ( return time around 20.00pm)
